Windows Media Playerがビジュアルスタジオアプリケーションを使用してWindows XPで動作しない

Windows 7（Framework 4.0）で動作するVisual Studio 2010アプリケーションにWMPコントロールを埋め込みましたが、winXPにアプリケーションをインストールすると、次のエラーが発生します。

AnyCPUではなくx86にビルド構成を変更します。これにより、32ビットアプリケーションとして構築され、Interop.WMPLibは正常に動作します。問題は、少なくとも私が見つけることができる限り、64ビット版のInterop WMPLibのバージョンがないことです。
